Objectives

The project aimed to enhance our organization's capacity to implement digital citizenship locally, fostering digital literacy and online responsibility. We sought to establish long-term partnerships with EU organizations, train staff, and engage the community through initiatives. Additionally, we aimed to expand our membership base and join a European network focused on digital citizenship, ensuring sustainable support for digital inclusion and active participation.

Background

Our project was focused to addresses the urgent need for improved digital skills among adults, with 90% of jobs requiring some level of proficiency. In line with the New European Agenda for Adult Learning (2021-2030) and the Upskilling Pathways Initiative, our initiative aim was to build our organization's capacity to support active digital citizenship locally, as ECA, focuses on social inclusion, education, and active citizenship through non-formal learning and community engagement.
