Objectives

The primary objective of this Erasmus+ KA131 project at Mother Teresa University (MTU) in Skopje was to continue advancing the institution’s internationalization strategy by fostering meaningful academic and professional exchanges across Europe. Through this initiative, MTU aimed to strengthen its existing partnerships with European higher education institutions and provide valuable mobility opportunities for both students and staff. Although this particular grant period represented a transitional phase—characterized by lower student mobility due to a gap year—the university remained committed to its long-term goals. Strategic planning and promotional efforts were actively pursued during this time to ensure a significant increase in student participation in future cycles. These efforts are already reflected in the improved figures of the subsequent grant period. By maintaining full realization of staff mobility activities, MTU demonstrated its institutional dedication to knowledge exchange, capacity building, and the enhancement of teaching and training practices. The project also served as a platform to reinforce the university’s visibility within the European academic landscape and to prepare the groundwork for broader student engagement in upcoming mobility cycles.
