Despite alarming climate change and pollution statistics over the past few decades, there are still people who do not believe that humans are responsible for climate change or for the changes that need to happen. The effects of climate change are already being felt, and it is urgent to take measures to address this issue and raise awareness about how it affects life today and how it will impact the future of young people. Because of all these issues, the "Guardians of the Planet" project aimed to raise awareness about climate change and encourage young people to take responsibility for their future. The project brought together 35 young people from different countries to work together in the fight against climate change, both locally and internationally. The main goals of the project were to equip participants with the skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary to live a more sustainable life, to foster critical thinking about their role in addressing climate change, and to inform young people about the importance of the climate crisis we are facing. Additionally, the project supported young people with fewer opportunities by providing the chance for international exchange and the opportunity to develop various essential skills. The project also aimed to promote the organization of small green events, the exchange of knowledge and experiences among participants, and the support of initiatives for living a more sustainable lifestyle, recycling, and contributing to the achievement of sustainability goals. Ultimately, the project aimed to establish future partnerships and networking opportunities in the field of sustainability and the environment.
