As Artificial Intelligence is constantly improving and being used progressively while influencing our lives and work, with this project we wanted to introduce the youth workers and young people to the potential and advantages of using AI, while also promoting correct and ethical use of AI. We wanted to encourage them to consider the ethical and social implications of AI, and to be more informed and responsible while using it, which is crucial for building trust with young people and maintaining the integrity of youth work. This project was also implemented in order to promote lifelong learning for the professional and personal growth of youth workers by equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to identify and assess appropriate AI tools and platforms, as well as to support an inclusive and quality education for all. The objectives of our project were: - To introduce participants to the concept of AI and its potential applications in education, as outlined by the Beijing Consensus and SDG 4. - To equip participants with the skills to identify and evaluate appropriate AI tools and platforms that can support their work with young people. - To encourage critical thinking and ethical reflection when considering the integration of AI in youth work, in line with the principles of the Beijing Consensus. - To explore how AI can be used to support inclusive and personalized learning experiences for diverse groups of learners, in alignment with SDG 4. - To promote collaboration and knowledge-sharing among youth workers from different organizations and backgrounds, in line with the spirit of the Beijing Consensus and the need for global cooperation to achieve SDG 4
