The implementation of this modest, yet ambitious project was to strengthen the collaboration between University "St Kliment Ohridski" - Bitola (UKLO) and Bar-Ilan University (BIU) from Israel – - Region3 and between UKLO and three higher education institutions from Region1: University of Valona, Albania, CEPS, Bosnia and Hercegovina and Kosovo Academy of Public Safety (KAPS). However, the granting was approved only for the Region 3 partner and just one from the Region 1, KAPS, in partnership with our Faculty of Security (FS) in the area of security studies. The two institutions have a record of successful partnership. Credit mobility, as a relatively new concept in Kosovo is extensively promoted and Kosovo HEIs seem to lack projects for academic mobility, so they requested this partnership with UKLO FS as an experienced partner. BIU and UKLO have been in a relation of long-lasting partnership, (two KA107 mobility projects with exchange of academic staff only) so this application was to keep the sustainability, by deciding to broaden the scope of academic areas of interest so that more departments can be part of it. Regretfully, due to the unfortunate situation in the Near East, the project ended with no realization whatsoever.
