The project aimed to strengthen academic cooperation between the University American College Skopje and Beder University, modernise English Department curricula, and better align study programmes with the Western Balkans labour market. It sought to enhance students’ business communication, intercultural, analytical, and green thinking skills, expanding their career options beyond teaching and improving their employability and entrepreneurial capacity. For staff, the project aimed to foster exchange of expertise, innovative pedagogical approaches, and the creation of region-specific curricula and materials, particularly in Business Communication in English, Business English, and English for Specific Purposes. It also promoted inclusivity by supporting participants with fewer opportunities. Through mobilities, participants would gain intercultural awareness, adaptability, and understanding of local companies’ challenges and sustainable practices. Overall, the project intended to break stereotypes, strengthen regional collaboration, improve teaching and learning quality, and contribute to institutional internationalisation strategies.
