Objectives

The primary objective of our project was to promote international mobility for both students and staff while ensuring the capacity to adapt to emerging global challenges. Our aim was to enhance the educational experience at EQF Levels 5 and 6 through practical learning opportunities, professional development, and cultural exchange. For students, the project was designed to enrich their education through international mobility experiences. These experiences aimed to not only broaden their academic knowledge but also improve their employability by exposing them to diverse working methods and fostering an understanding of global professional environments. 134 students participated in mobility activities, representing 89.33% of our initial target of 150. This is a strong outcome and a positive indication of the project’s success. Overall, the program offered invaluable learning experiences for the students who participated. Staff mobility also shows a positive outcome, with 60 staff members participating out of the targeted 70. The objectives for staff mobility focused on continuous professional development, the cross-fertilization of ideas, and the mutual exchange of best practices with partner institutions. Staff participants were able to gain new insights into modern educational approaches, forge strategic partnerships, and enhance their teaching methodologies. The project also provided opportunities to improve digital literacy, refine communication skills, and explore innovative educational tools. By experiencing new environments, staff deepened their understanding of global education systems and were better equipped to integrate these insights into their teaching practices. The overarching framework of the project was guided by the Erasmus Charter, which emphasizes student learning enhancement, the transfer of skills to the workplace, and the promotion of cross-cultural understanding. Through study-abroad opportunities, students were able to engage with new working methods, often using English as the primary language of communication, which not only improved their technical competencies but also prepared them for success in a globalized world. Furthermore, the project instilled a strong sense of European identity and values in the participants, promoting cultural exchange and cooperation. Beyond the formal educational outcomes, the project yielded a range of non-formal benefits, particularly for students. These included increased cultural awareness, improved soft skills such as communication and teamwork, and the expansion of social and professional networks across borders. These skills are vital in today’s interconnected world, where adaptability and intercultural competence are highly valued. We remain committed to fostering transformative education through international mobility and cross-cultural exchange, ensuring that both students and staff are equipped to thrive in an ever-changing world.
