Objectives

The main aim of the project was to enable students and staff to gain both theoretical and practical experience in tourism and culinary arts through mobilities at foreign universities and stakeholders. Through student placements, and staff job-shadowing activities at foreign countries, we also sought to foster cultural awareness and mutual knowledge transfer between ITS participants and their international counterparts. Internationalisation remains a key objective in ITS’s strategy, pursued on one hand through the Erasmus+ Programme by fostering networks and sharing practices with partner institutions. This project has further deepened institutional collaboration, (particularly the valued partnership with Institut Lyfe), while enriching teaching, training, and learning through new initiatives, including the first-ever implementation of the Blended Intensive Programme at ITS. The Blended Intensive Programme gathered a total of 27 students (17 from Fort-de-France, Martinique, and 10 from Alcala de Henares, Spain).
