The major objective of this project was to encourage youth equality and non-discrimination so that no one was prejudiced from birth. To achieve this, children and youth had to learn about these concepts from a young age, both formally and informally, by developing important transversal competencies such as self-reflection, empathy, and mutual respect. Furthermore, our objective was to increase young people's understanding of their rights, empower them to recognise and confront prejudice, and to seek out legal or other remedies from the appropriate institutions. Learning objectives were: • Exchange knowledge and examples of good practices in an international group of young people • Improve knowledge about other cultures and religions and countries • Promote youth intercultural dialogue and universally shared values • Raise solidarity and tolerance through intercultural dialogue • Overcome stereotypes and intolerance • Organize short workshops about discrimination and intolerance for the local youths • Build the international network of youth (Facebook group or page or other social network) • Develop and improve communication skills in English • Become active citizens in society
