Through this project, we aimed to achieve several key objectives. Firstly, we wanted to introduce Stop Motion animation as an innovative teaching tool to make learning more engaging, creative, and accessible for students across different age groups and learning styles. We believed that incorporating such creative methods could spark interest and motivation among learners, particularly those who are less responsive to traditional teaching approaches. Secondly, we wanted to use this project as an opportunity to inspire and support our educators by exposing them to new pedagogical methods and encouraging them to experiment with technology-enhanced learning. This was also seen as a step towards investing in their professional growth and helping them overcome the challenges of student disengagement and limited parental involvement. Additionally, we aimed to strengthen collaboration within our college network, encouraging teachers from different schools and contexts to work together, share experiences, and learn from one another. By collaborating with partner schools abroad, we also sought to broaden our educators’ perspectives, allowing them to exchange good practices and share challenges.
Our school embarked on this project because we believe that Stop Motion animation is an innovative and engaging educational tool that can enhance teaching and learning across various subjects. This initiative marked a new and exciting experience for our school, and we were eager to explore its potential not only as a creative medium but also as a way to introduce fresh pedagogical approaches. We see projects like this as a valuable source of inspiration and motivation for both educators and learners. In recent years, our teachers have sometimes faced challenges due to a noticeable lack of interest from learners and limited engagement from parents. Participating in Erasmus+ and implementing creative tools such as Stop Motion has helped reignite enthusiasm among educators, encouraging them to try new methods and invest in their own professional development. Moreover, this project fostered collaboration across schools within our college network, giving educators the opportunity to connect with colleagues who work in different contexts and subject areas. Also important was the opportunity to work with educators from schools abroad, which allowed participants to broaden their perspectives and share experiences.
