Objectives

TU/e wants to execute its strategy for internationalization. Further implementing the Erasmus project contributes to this strategy: 1) the collaboration with the universities abroad will be reinforced, especially the collaboration with the partner universities in the institution networks EuroTech (through the European Universities Initiative EuroTeQ too), CLUSTER and SGroup, 2)TU/e’s student population, teaching programmes and university culture (by the presence of incoming students and staff in the international class room and on the campus) will be further internationalized, which contributes to the competitive position of Brainport Region Eindhoven too, and 3) the visibility of TU/e will increase. Update Call 2023: the special TU/e International Experience Policy (sending as many students as possible abroad to prepare them well for working at the international engineering market after graduation) still fits perfectly with Erasmus. TU/e is still reconsidering a full adaptation of this policy. NEW: in the meantime, a partial adjustment has been made: students are now also allowed to study abroad for a period of two months (instead of three months). Of course, students are allowed to participate in BIP’s
