The strategic objectives outlined in HAN’s Strategic Plan 2022–2028 remain firmly in place. The commitment to "Raising Global Citizens" continues to be a central pillar, clearly reflected in both our educational programmes and the ongoing professional development of our staff. In a time marked by war, political instability, climate challenges, and the spread of disinformation via social media, the importance of cultivating global citizens—individuals capable of critical thinking and intercultural responsibility—has only grown. The Erasmus+ programme plays a vital role in supporting this mission, by providing financial support to both students and staff who decide to embark on an international experience and by providing the infrastructure for building solid European networks that help facilitate these experiences. HAN recognises that international experiences challenge participants to transcend personal and cultural boundaries. We are therefore pleased to observe a significant increase in the participation in Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs), which has notably expanded the reach and impact of the Erasmus+ programme across our student body and staff as well.
