Objectives

With this Erasmus+ KA131 project, Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences (HVHL) has offered its students and staff concrete opportunities to gain international experience that contributes to their personal, academic, and professional development. Mobility is being structurally deployed, under the new HVHL internationalisation plan, as a tool for: - Curriculum strengthening, by integrating international learning experiences into transition-oriented education; - Strengthening inclusion, through proactive efforts on inclusion top-ups, targeted communication, and personal guidance for students with fewer opportunities; - Societal transitions, such as green and sustainable transitions, in line with the institutional plan and transitions within HVHL. This project aligns directly with HVHL's Internationalization Policy 2024–2028, in which internationalization and the Erasmus program are explicitly anchored in three strategic pillars: - Transition-oriented education – by incorporating mobility, Internationalization at Home, and the International Classroom into the curriculum, among other things. - Transition-oriented practical research – including participation in international Living Labs, where HVHL collaborates with international partners in research and education; - International networking – including collaboration with strategic partners for student and staff mobility, joint education and research collaborations based on the Living Lab concept. Within these frameworks, HVHL has achieved the following with this project: - At least 100 mobilities, including blended formats; - 10% student participation with fewer opportunities; - Taken steps to collaborate with our partners in at least five HVHL programs; - Continued digitization and handled more LA online; - Improved contact with our partners through participation in conferences
