Objectives

By participating in the Erasmus+ Programme KA131 call 2023, we aimed to fulfill our vision of internationalization by providing students with opportunities to become intercultural and internationally competent global professionals with critical thinking skills. For our university of applied sciences, internationalization creates a diverse learning environment connected to an international ecosystem. The societal issues that we try to solve with our education and research increasingly require a cross-border view. Internationalization provides a window to the world, adding new perspectives and looking beyond borders. This equips Inholland professionals to solve complex problems and contribute to a sustainable and resilient society. Inclusive and sustainable internationalisation, with attention to the well-being of both students and staff, strengthens the foundation of our education and research. In doing so, we maximise our impact on the world around us. Student and staff mobility is one way we achieve this vision. Through this project, we offered a variety of Erasmus+ mobility grants, including mobilities for studies, traineeships, and staff teaching and training in Erasmus+ programme countries. By promoting inclusion and green travel top-ups, we contributed to inclusive mobility and sustainability. These different types of mobility helped develop transversal skills among students and employees. The project also allowed us to innovate our education through co-creation and interdisciplinary collaboration with our international partners. In doing so, we contributed to our vision by engaging students and staff in education aimed at addressing societal challenges that require a cross-border perspective.
