The primary objective of DIGITRAINER 4.0 is to strengthen the digital competences of Vocational Education and Training (VET) trainers, ensuring they are better prepared to respond to the demands of Education 4.0. As a consortium, we aim to raise awareness of digital and emerging technologies in order to foster innovation, adaptability, and resilience among trainers and VET decision makers. The project seeks to inspire institutional leaders to implement lasting improvements in digital readiness and to sensitise stakeholders and policy makers to the growing importance of digital knowledge in training systems. In addition, DIGITRAINER 4.0 focuses on enhancing digital management skills and supporting the transfer of learning into daily professional practice. We also aim to support trainers in developing personal competences such as self confidence, determination, and openness to new methodologies, enabling them to successfully adapt to changing educational environments. By doing so, DIGITRAINER 4.0 contributes directly to the Erasmus+ priority of digital transformation, helping to bridge the digital divide and increasing the attractiveness and innovation potential of the VET sector in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
