Objectives

The general objective of the project was to promote the elimination of mental health problems among young people, based on the reduction of fake news. This was particularly relevant since the communities involved in our project had faced these problems primarily due to the spread of misinformation. Important objectives of the project were: To facilitate the formation of an intercultural environment among young people; To raise awareness around the concepts of fake news and disinformation, promoting their elimination and bringing the right information to the public in the correct way; To raise awareness of youth mental health, the concept, and ways to protect and maintain it; To enhance civic responsibility among young people and unite them to make positive changes in their communities. Through this project, we wanted to raise awareness about fake news and mental health and help eliminate misinformation to protect and preserve the mental health of young people. As for the motivation and interest of young people in getting involved in the project – they wanted to protect their own mental health and that of the young people around them, to learn more about eliminating sources of misinformation and correctly providing information to society.
