Objectives

Our project was designed with several critical objectives. We wanted to get young people from all over the world talking about violence against women and gender equality. The idea was to make them see how these big issues are part of their own lives and others' lives too. Also, we aimed to get them to rethink any stereotypes or set ideas they might have on these topics. To accomplish these objectives, we identified our targets: - We proactively initiated thoughtful discussions on critical topics such as violence, gender equality, and stereotypes in order to foster broad awareness and understanding among participants. - Our goal was not only to empower young people by giving them a platform to express how violence against women affects them on a personal level, but also to provide them with knowledge and strategies for advocacy and resistance to such injustices. - In order to make engagement with these pressing issues more interactive and impactful, we organised a series of dynamic activities such as role-playing scenarios, structured debates, and educational workshops. - We conducted meticulous analysis of the prevalence and patterns of violence against women in the various nations participating in our initiative, with the goal of identifying underlying trends and contributing to a global dialogue on preventative strategies. - We studied the representation of violence against women in media outlets across these countries, hoping to learn not only how such violence is portrayed, but also its broader social implications and the role media plays in shaping public perception. - By focusing our efforts on this critical issue, we hoped to reinforce and accentuate the common values and objectives that exist across Europe, emphasising the importance of unity and collective action in addressing societal challenges. - Finally, we wanted to ensure that our project's key message resonated widely across all participating countries, fostering a sense of shared responsibility and encouraging a collective movement towards societal change and improvement. To summarize, our project aimed to engage young people globally in discussions about violence against women and gender equality, using engaging activities like role-playing and workshops to challenge stereotypes and promote awareness, while also examining media portrayals and emphasizing Europe's shared values to ensure the message spread widely across participating countries.
