Different cultures, people, and communities often have different communication styles. Very often, misunderstandings happen just because we are unable to communicate our diversity. when our differences are taken by the other as a threat. So how do we communicate in a holistic way? With this project, we successfully raised awareness about non-violent communication (NVC) as a way to communicate diversity and, as a result, contributed to creating a society where we respected each other and celebrated diversity, as well as a society where mindfulness and mental health prevailed. We addressed the issue of youth mental health, discussed youth goals, used theater and clowning to explore paths in diversity communication, and found the most appropriate ways for each of us to communicate differences and be understood in our daily lives. Our intentions were clear: We exchanged and shared how we dealt with different emotions and communicated in times of conflict. We learned how to communicate differences and what to do in diverse situations to reach the point where we could celebrate and learn from differences. We shared stories from our personal lives, families, ancestors, our communities, countries, and collectives. We exchanged positive practices of managing our emotional well-being.
