Objectives

Considering the difficult situation in many countries caused first by COVID-19 and issues that are connected with recent news about war attacks that young people see on media - young people are having a hard time comprehending and dealing with these situations. Besides new issues, there are still issues such as low self-esteem and other issues that young people are dealing with that they have a hard time talking about. In the last years, stressors came from really different directions, including feelings of sadness, helplessness, and despair which contributed to an increase in their stress levels. Often searched words on Google by some researchers are "loneliness", "depression", and "anxiety" which means that youngsters are facing this but we do not offer them the proper way to vent this and we should. We as partners boldly choose innovation because we need new combined tools, approaches, and methods in this area of work since our experience from everyday work confirms the level of issues that young people face and we really need to look into the directions of new tools, methods, and approaches - which was the reason for creation of our project. Objectives we planned: 1. To experience a series of exercises from the domain of art (music, dance, and movement) so that the individual (youth workers and later youngsters) discovers the depth of such work 2. Developing motivation through personal deep positive experience for its use for the holistic development of the individual - connecting body, emotions, mind in work 3. Acquisition of specific competencies through the offered tools and approaches from 2 areas based on experiential learning 4. Including gained skills from dance and movement therapy protocols in the daily work and actively contributing to further developing this innovative approach together with partners through new activities in the future
