Objectives

Utilizing outdoor education and experiential learning proves to be effective methods for captivating learners and fostering personal development, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. These approaches are increasingly acknowledged as vital for shaping individuals comprehensively and fostering social, emotional, and physical well-being. This initiative, offered participants the chance to take part in enriching educational encounters that not only advanced their personal growth but also refined their professional aptitudes, aiding them in becoming more adept educators and trainers. The European Union is confronted with various obstacles concerning education and training, such as the imperative to enhance the caliber and applicability of educational programs, rectify skills disparities, and encourage lifelong learning. The project had the potential to tackle these obstacles by using inventive methods of teaching and learning, facilitating the professional growth of educators and trainers, and fostering the exchange of beneficial practices across nations. The main objectives of the training course are the following: • To provide participants with an understanding of the principles and practices of outdoor education and experiential learning • To equip participants with the skills and knowledge to design and implement effective outdoor education and experiential learning programs • To promote the exchange of good practices in outdoor education and experiential learning among participants from different countries • To enhance the professional skills and competencies of participants in the field of education and training • To promote the Erasmus+ programme and its values of internationalization, cooperation, and innovation in education and training.
