We needed this project to have the ability to build more partnerships and expand our project network. The idea for this project was born during the youth exchange in Sint Maarten in which some of the participants were under 18. During one of the group leaders' meeting, we were discussing how underage participants from some of our countries don't have that many opportunities to participate in Erasmus plus and learn through nonformal education. We were talking about how it's shame that there are no more opportunities for youngsters under 18 to participate in the youth exchanges and how we all have local schools with whom we are cooperating and who are very interested to become more involved in Erasmus+. In the end, we decided that we should organize a Partnership Building Activity for the organizations that are working with youngsters younger than 18 years old and to create more opportunities for this target group during that PBA. The main objectives of the project were: 1) Connecting youth workers and youth organizations from the European mainland and overseas territories that are working with youth under 18 years old and creating new projects together 2) Creating a space where 23 youth workers from 8 different countries will be able to share their knowledge, experience and good practices Apart from these basic objectives, the project's objectives include: 3) Identifying and addressing the problems that organizations from the European mainland and overseas territories face in their work and comparing realities from these two regions 4) Sharing with 23 youth workers knowledge about the Erasmus+ program and improving the quality of projects applied by participating organizations The final goal of the project was to: 5) Establish partnerships and write 6 projects that will be applied in the Erasmus+ program in one of the first deadlines in 2024.
