Objectives

1. Pupils and teachers will learn to become more aware of sustainable choices and actions within the subject area of sales, service and tourism and, not least, contribute to new, changed personal sustainable choices and habits. 2. Pupils will gain a better understanding of inclusion and diversity within the subject area of sales, service and tourism, and at the same time this competence must contribute to both professional and personal development. 3. Pupils will develop an increased social and intercultural competence through active travel to, experience and participate in Slovenia's democratic life.

Background

The school's priority goal is to get more students to complete school. Increased motivation and mastery among students is in this respect central. The school therefore wants to offer good quality education through international projects. - Charlottenlund primary school is an approved green school with a strong focus on the environment and sustainability. - Some of our students have extra challenges and fewer opportunities than other students and need close follow-up in various social and academic practical learning situations. Inclusion and understanding of diversity is therefore something we see as valuable. - We see a need for our students to take a more active role in society through increased understanding of democracy and citizenship in a European perspective. Through the project, students will be able to increase their competence within these topics. Our school has challenges to achieve this financially, and therefore needs to apply for resources that support such activities.
