Objectives

We want the students to have the best possible learning outcome. Such international contact adds a new dimension to the training that we have not previously had. With a return visit, we hope that the students can make contacts and gain a better understanding of how the agricultural industries work in an international perspective. We also want to focus on the value of the public right for using all areas and how important it is to the public and that it is important that business operators respect and make arrangements for this right to continue.

Background

We have a French agricultural teacher at the school, and we think it is a great way to use him making contacts with agricultural schools and the professionals in France. Kalnes has previously done an Earsmus project for joint subjects with revisits from schools in Romania and Spain. Despite amputation due to the pandemic, this was successful and the students learned a lot from it. We therefore want to make this happen for the agricultural students as well. Therefore, EPLEFPA sends a corresponding application so that we can visit each other. If we make it happen, we will postpone the visit from France so that they can experience May 17th celebrations in Norway (Natinonal celebration). At the moment sustainable food production is interesting for everyone , and the students are interested as well. As we have the school farm, we emphasize this in the teaching, and think it is interesting to see how this is handled in other countries.
