Key objectives were identified by Østfold University College/Høgskolen i Østfold (HiØ) during this project period. These objectives were: 1. Increase invisibility of the Erasmus+ programme to both students and academic and administrative staff 2. Increase the diversity of participants (both as individuals as well as academic affiliation) and partners in Europe 3. Strategic use of staff mobility 4. Strengthen relationships with Erasmus+ partners for better student mobility and academic collaboration 5. Improve administrative routines to ensure better service to participants and to better administer the project (i.e. participant reports) Overall, HiØ hoped to use Erasmus+ and the mobilities the programme supports as a key tool in the realization and concretization of our organizational values - respect and tolerance, critical and free debate, and societal development. International engagement is also an integral part of our institution's strategy and identified as a crucial element in our overarching goal of disseminating high quality and relevant education and research to our local region. The activities supported by this Erasmus+ project have shown to be a major contributor to our success in promoting our institutional values and organizational strategy.
