Objectives

Through the digital toolbox at Hy2Learn.eu create an essential and easy-to-handle resource for instruction or teaching second languages in synchronous hybrid settings. Integrating diverse activities, employing effective methodologies, and utilizing digital tools, educators can create dynamic and impactful learning experiences for adult learners, ultimately fostering their language acquisition and communication skills. Hy2learn aims to support for delivery of high-quality second language instruction in a synchronous hybrid environment

Background

The shift towards synchronous hybrid classes reflects a response to the evolving needs of adult learners who often juggle work and personal commitments. While there may be concerns about the pedagogical foundation for these formats, the demand for flexible learning options is undeniable. Institutions are challenged to create high-quality synchronous hybrid classes that effectively engage both online and in-person participants. This adaptation is essential for meeting the diverse needs of adult learners and ensuring that educational offerings remain relevant and effective.
