The goal of the project was twofold:1/ Cultural rapprochement - that is, familiarizing Polish mobility participants with everyday life, social structure and French culture, as well as familiarizing our host French seniors with Polish customs, living conditions and culture 2/ significantimprovement of French language skills among the project participants.
The project was implemented by the University of the Third Age of the Warsaw University of Technology, operating for 18 years, with about 1,000 students and 113 hours of classes per week. These include computer courses, 6 foreign language courses, artistic and technical workshops, and physical activity classes. As the French language groups are most numerous after English ones,it was decided to devote the first project to getting closer to the culture of that country.
