1. Continuous acquisition of new and deepening of key competences, in particular in the field of multilingualism, soft skills, including learning skills, and cultural awareness and expression. 2. Learning about the functioning and management mechanisms of European NGOs and the tools and working methods they use, the target audience of their educational offer, and their sources of funding. 3. Intensifying activities for people with fewer opportunities and promoting inclusion and diversity.

Background

The Institute of Tolerance has been operating since 2001. Approximately 30 people are involved in its volunteer activities. The Institute grew out of Colourful Tolerance, a campaign to paint over vulgar and racist graffiti on walls. Our mission is to promote the principles of tolerance and respect for human dignity, dialogue across divisions, erasing hatred from public spaces, and continuing and intensifying our work for social inclusion and diversity.
