Completing the project was supposed to aswer the diagnosed needs of ZSBD and to provide students with high quality trainings and extensive development, and also to enable vocational subjects teachers to undergo high quality vocational trainings to increase their professional skills. The project was to increase the school prestige in the local area and to promote vocational education in the subjects offered by our school.
Zespół Szkół Budowlano-Drzewnych im. Armii Krajowej w Żywcu (ZSBD) educates over 900 students in secondary technical and basic vocational school in trades needed on the labour market. School community is formed of students aged 15-20 years old. 22 students of technical school (2-week training) and 8 teachers of vocational subjects (5-day job shadowing) participated in the project. The number of vocational groups was proportional to the total number of students and teachers of the given subject.
