Civitas University has been actively participating in the Erasmus+ programme for many years. The programme’s priorities, such as digitalisation and actions promoting sustainable development, have been consistently implemented across all areas of the university’s activity. In 2023, Civitas University was honoured by the European Commission with the title of Erasmus Without Paper (EWP) Champion, as one of only two Polish universities (alongside Adam Mickiewicz University). This recognition enabled us to take part in meetings and test new digital solutions throughout the duration of the project. Additionally, our university is actively engaged in the digitalisation of the Erasmus+ programme, as demonstrated by the implementation of the European Student Card (ESC). Erasmus+ is a cornerstone of the internationalisation of Civitas University. The implementation of project KA131 2023 was of strategic importance, allowing us to establish, maintain, and develop international cooperation. Participation in the programme supported the development of mobility, multiculturalism, and sustainable growth, while strengthening and internationalising the academic community. The project was carried out in full compliance with the ECHE Charter, the University’s Internationalisation Strategy, and the Higher Education Modernisation Agenda. The objectives of project KA131 2023 included: - further internationalisation of Civitas University, - promoting international student mobility, developing skills, and broadening educational horizons, - cooperation with international partners, strengthening partnerships, and exchanging good practices. The Erasmus+ programme has enabled the University to maintain a leading position in the field of internationalisation, develop partnerships, promote mobility, and improve institutional performance. It has also enhanced the competitiveness of Civitas University, fostered the development of new learning pathways, and strengthened international cooperation – all of which are crucial for the sustainable development of higher education.
