The main objective of the Erasmus+ KA131 project implemented by PANS in Nysa, in accordance with the financial agreement concluded with FRSE and subsequent annexes, was to support the development of international cooperation and the internationalization process of PANS in Nysa in the areas of education, research, and management, through the implementation of student and staff mobilities in line with the principles of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) and based on the current priorities of the European Union. By implementing the project, the University aimed to increase the mobility of students and academic staff, provide opportunities to gain international experience, develop intercultural and professional competencies, and strengthen cooperation with foreign partners. The project also aimed to support the internationalization of the University and enhance the quality of education through the exchange of good practices and modern teaching methods. Initially, 95 mobilities were planned (24 SMS, 22 SMP, 31 STA, 18 STT). Ultimately, the project significantly exceeded this target, achieving 142 mobilities, i.e., 47 more than planned (61 SMS, 21 SMP, 29 STA, 30 STT). Mobilities were carried out at both partner universities and institutions from EU member states as well as in non-associated countries identified as priorities in the University’s internationalization strategy. This cooperation also included activities beyond the mobility itself under the Erasmus+ program, contributing to the establishment of long-term partnerships. The project was open to students from all fields of study, including those with fewer opportunities, for whom dedicated support (organizational, language, and financial) was provided in line with the University’s capabilities and the instruments available under the Erasmus+ program. This approach enables PANS in Nysa to consistently implement policies of equal opportunities and social inclusion. A key element of the project was also the short-term student mobilities within intensive programs organized by partner universities. These mobilities were closely linked to the study program and took place under the supervision of PANS academic staff, which enhanced their quality and ensured long-lasting effects. Students who completed SMS and SMP mobilities represented almost all fields of study offered at the University. The project was implemented in accordance with applicable regulations and procedures, and its main objectives and results align with the priorities of Erasmus+ and the European Commission: Development of language, intercultural, and professional competencies of students through participation in educational mobilities and foreign traineeships. Improvement of teaching quality through the transfer of knowledge, teaching methods, and good practices between PANS in Nysa and partner universities and institutions. Support for inclusion and equal opportunities by providing dedicated support for students with fewer opportunities, including those with limited financial resources or from smaller communities. Promotion of Green Erasmus mobilities – encouraging participants to choose eco-friendly transport and raising awareness of sustainable development. Development of digital competencies through the use of digital tools (e.g., OLS, e-learning platforms, tools for international online collaboration) and participation in courses and classes conducted in a modern digital environment. Strengthening active participation in social and democratic life in Europe by fostering a sense of belonging to the academic and European community. In summary, the Erasmus+ KA131 project implemented by PANS in Nysa significantly exceeded the initially planned quantitative targets, while its qualitative results contributed to the development of participants’ competencies, strengthening the University’s international profile, and deepening cooperation with partners across Europe and in priority countries.
