By implementing the Erasmus+ Action 1 – Educational Mobility project no. 2023-1-PL01-KA131-HED-000115685 from June 1, 2023, to July 31, 2025, the University aimed to achieve several strategic and practical results, such as: strengthening cooperation with foreign partners, acquiring new foreign partner institutions, building a network of international partnerships, and increasing the University's visibility in Europe and around the world. Through the project, the University hoped to improve the teaching and professional competences of university staff through training and teaching abroad, creating an engaging offer of English-language programs, and introducing new, innovative teaching methods and best practices from partner universities. All forms of mobility were intended to enhance participants' linguistic, intercultural, and professional competences, as well as strengthen soft skills such as independence, communication, and adaptation to new environments. From this reason, all types of academic exchange were planned, i.e. outgoing and incoming students for studies and traineeships, outgoing and incoming academic teachers for 8 hours of lectures, outgoing and incoming staff for training purposes. Additionally, the project was intended to support the development of attitudes of openness, tolerance, and active European citizenship, promote international cooperation, and provide practical experience gained in an international environment.. All returning from abroad will be the ambassadors of the Erasmus+ program and through meetings with colleagues, friends or even at national and foreign conferences, they will disseminate the results of the project, sharing with all good practices taken from the partner institution and translating them into the home university. The University of Rzeszów fully recognizes each period of mobility realized in the project and the achievements of the participants, thus ensuring its students and employees full support for their future plans to participate in similar projects. Through the implementation of mobility projects, UR wants to join together with partner universities from different countries in the preparation of joint research and teaching projects, joint master's studies or the creation of European universities. By effectively implementing the KA131-2023 project, the University also anticipated numerous future benefits associated with the dissemination of Erasmus+ project results, such as increasing the university's credibility as a beneficiary of grants and projects, which would enhance its organizational capacity to obtain funding from national and European funds. Through its long-standing participation in mobility projects, the University will continue to maintain its positive image as a modern, open, and international institution. By disseminating the results, the University can also attract new students interested in studying in an international environment. The University also hoped that the university's participation in the program would lead to greater visibility and effectiveness in recruiting students to the programs offered by individual faculties, as well as promoting the Polish language. Project results often include innovative teaching tools, teaching methods, or collaboration models. The University can implement these and systematically improve the quality of education in line with European standards. By disseminating the results, the University can become an active participant in regional development and a promoter of the concept of mobility and international education. The impact of the project on the participants, that is students and staff, was also supposed to be considerable: individual learning paths enabling students to freely choose the units of learning outcomes; broadening the content and specialization of qualifications; recognition of previous achievements; higher level of mobility; increase of opportunities for work abroad due to the common concept of education; increasing the level of mutual trust in the results of education; improving the descriptions of learning outcomes and the learning assessment process; increasing the quality of education for both students and staff.
