The main objective of the project was to strengthen the international dimension of PANS (Państwowa Akademia Nauk Stosowanych im. Ignacego Mościckiego in Ciechanów) by providing opportunities for both students and staff to participate in mobility activities. Through student mobilities, we aimed to enhance participants’ academic, professional, and intercultural competences, increase their employability, and encourage personal development. Staff mobilities were intended to support the exchange of good practices, develop teaching and professional skills, and contribute to the overall quality of education and administration at our institution. By implementing the project, we wanted to foster international cooperation, build lasting partnerships with higher education institutions abroad, and contribute to the broader goal of European integration. As our university is located in a small town (ca. 40k inhabitants), our students have very limited access to international students, colleagues or friends. Thanks to the project we could show them the importance of language learning and strengthen their international spirit, often "wake them up" to international experience as it was not rarely to hear that they had never been abroad before or had never spoken to a foreigner so being thrown suddenly into international environment of students' life had been a gamechanger of their lives and attitudes.
