Objectives

The University of Humanities and Economics in Łódź is implementing a project whose main objective is to broaden the opportunities for international exchange of students and staff within the Erasmus+ Mobility programme. The university actively promotes the available mobility options as well as the benefits of participation in the project. A key priority is to ensure equal access for all participants – therefore, the offer includes both long-term and short-term mobilities, enriched with virtual components. Particular emphasis is placed on blended mobility, which supports the development of digital competences through the use of modern online tools and training in effective remote collaboration. As a result, participants not only gain valuable international experience, but also enhance their digital, language, and communication skills. The project also takes into account the needs of participants with fewer opportunities – the university provides them with comprehensive support, access to clear information, and conditions that encourage active involvement in mobility activities. The goal of AHE is to ensure their full inclusion in international exchanges and to enable them to benefit from the opportunities offered. The implementation of the project supports the development of participants in many areas: from interpersonal and intercultural skills, through problem-solving abilities, to raising awareness of digitalisation, sustainable development, and social responsibility. The initiative also fosters civic engagement, social participation, and cooperation across different cultures. An important aspect of the project is building new international partnerships and strengthening existing collaborations with foreign universities and institutions. AHE also welcomes students and staff from abroad, offering them support in the adaptation process, language assistance, and active integration into the academic and local community. A key element of the project is the development of close cooperation with international partners, including the joint implementation of Blended Intensive Programmes. Such initiatives combine physical mobility with a virtual component, fostering the exchange of experiences, collaborative learning, and the creation of innovative solutions within international teams.
