The project aimed to further develop the internationalization of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (NCU) through increased mobility of students, graduates and staff. According to the financial agreement, 284 mobilities were planned: 242 for students and 42 for staff, as well as the coordination of one Blended Intensive Programme (BIP). The new NCU Strategy identifies as one of its main goals strengthening the international attractiveness of education at NCU and of the mobility of students and those preparing their doctorates, as well as ensuring the appropriate conditions for top-quality education. Mobility projects under the Erasmus+ program perfectly contribute to the achievement of the above-mentioned objectives, primarily by constant strengthening the international dimension in the functioning of NCU, as well as testing, updating and providing new solutions in the organization of international mobility. The direct aim of the project was primarily to increase the competence and knowledge of NCU students and staff through international mobility and the experience of functioning, even for a short period, in a different cultural and organizational environment. During the 2023 contract period, an important objective was to continue to implement the new Erasmus+ Policy for the edition of the Programme 2021-2027 and the new ECHE Charter, as well as to make greater use of the new types of mobilities (BIP, blended mobility, short-term student and doctoral student mobilities). The implementation of the KA131 2023 project was also to support the effective introduction of new types of Erasmus+ mobilities, EWP tools at NCU and the actual electronic exchange of data with partner universities.
