Objectives

The main intention behind implementing this project was to adapt the university to the dynamically changing labor market and to improve the quality of education and development for academic staff, administrative staff, and students. Participation in the Erasmus+ programme was meant to enable the exchange of good practices, acquisition of new experiences, development of language skills, and the internationalization of teaching. The university aimed to create opportunities for expanding knowledge through international mobility, working on international projects, participating in conferences and training sessions, and developing strategic partnerships with universities from Europe and partner countries. The project also aimed to increase the innovativeness of the educational process, reduce prejudices and stereotypes between nations, expand the educational offer, and raise the professional qualifications of staff, which would translate into higher quality of teaching. Another important aspect was the promotion of mobility—both for students and staff—and the university’s openness to multiculturalism and diversity. Janusz Korczak Pedagogical University sought to become an attractive partner for other institutions, both current and new, and to make its offer accessible also to foreigners for whom Polish is a communication barrier. International cooperation was intended to lead to the transfer of good practices, cultural integration, and the creation of joint projects and scientific journals. In summary, by implementing this project, the university primarily wanted to: - increase the level of internationalization and innovativeness, - enable the personal and professional development of participants, - strengthen cooperation with foreign partners, - promote openness, diversity, and high standards of education, - prepare the university for the challenges of the contemporary educational and labor market.
