From 01.06.2023 to 31.07.2025, the Wrocław University of Economics and Business implemented the Erasmus project within the framework of Action KA131, edition 2023. The aim of the project was to achieve valuable results at both individual, institutional and social levels. With regard to students, the aim was to enable them to complete part of their studies at a university from a European Union country, which resulted in better preparation of young students to meet the challenges of socio-economic and political changes in Europe, taking into account social justice, cultural distinctiveness with a simultaneous sense of their own identity, development of adaptation skills and coping with different situations. The aim of the project with regard to students on placement was to bring them into contact with the European labour market, use their theoretical knowledge, identify their own strengths and weaknesses, establish international professional contacts, increase their attractiveness on the labour market. The aim of the project with regard to academic teachers was to gain new experience in the teaching process, to make better use of their own research and teaching potential, to learn new teaching methods and work organisation, to build strategic partnerships, and to be able to participate in further international projects. With regard to other staff, the project's objective was to exchange good practices and experiences, implement innovative solutions at the home university, and develop cooperation between universities. At the university level, the implementation of the project means the internationalisation of the institution, enhancing the prestige and attractiveness of the university, enriching the teaching offer with international elements, developing partnerships and international cooperation, strengthening relations with universities from different countries, the possibility of joint scientific, teaching and development projects, increasing the quality of education. In the social aspect, the realisation of the project means better preparation of young people for functioning in a globalised world, increasing professional and geographical mobility, supporting the development of soft competences such as communication, cooperation, flexibility.
