The implementation of exchanges under the Erasmus+ program is consistent with the university's strategy for 2021-2030, adopted by the Senate of the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków (ASP). One of ASP's strategic goals is to develop the Academy's potential, which is achieved, among other things, through: - creating conditions for creative activities and developing professional competences; - developing new fields of study and increasing the diversity of study paths; - internationalisation of the university by creating platforms for international cooperation; - developing partnerships for student mobility. The project significantly aligns with the aforementioned goals of the ASP's strategy. Participation in academic exchanges between students and staff contributes to the development of artistic, scientific, and teaching activities. The project's goals were to diversify educational pathways, raise the standard of education and strengthen its European dimension, enhance the competences and qualifications of staff and students, learn about best practices at partner universities, expand the network of contacts, and build partnerships that lead to future joint artistic and teaching initiatives. The project also meets the training needs of administrative staff. Both incoming and outgoing mobilities of students and teachers from host schools were to provide opportunities to learn about alternative teaching methods and create artistic projects. Providing students with internship mobilities as part of the program provides opportunities to gain professional international experience, which should ultimately positively impact the development of skills and increase the competitiveness of ASP's graduates in the job market.
