In implementing the Erasmus+ KA131 project, our goal was to enable as many students, academic staff, and administrative employees as possible to gain practical professional experience at partner institutions abroad. Our priority was to ensure that the mobility experience had a positive impact on the participants’ further development by enriching their linguistic and subject-specific knowledge, as well as enhancing their social and intercultural competences. Project participants were expected to gain valuable practical experience, acquire new knowledge, and subsequently share their insights, fostering mutual development not only among those who took part in mobilities but also among those who did not have the opportunity to travel to partner institutions. Our overarching aim was to create conditions in which both students and staff could explore their potential, develop talents, and build a sense of agency and autonomy. By placing the participant at the center, we sought to address their individual needs, dreams, and aspirations — the project was intended to be a space where everyone could feel valued, inspired, and motivated to grow. We aimed to facilitate experiences in new environments, opening doors to deeper self-awareness, personal values, and boundaries. The project was designed to encourage participants to reflect on themselves and their choices. Our intention was for participants to feel empowered as creators of their own lives - both personally and professionally - with their development depending on themselves. We wanted participants to be aware that an essential element of the project was the exchange of good practices and the development of international cooperation. We planned to establish and strengthen relationships with universities and institutions from European and associated countries. This was intended to enhance the exchange of experiences, implement new teaching solutions, and improve the quality of education. As a result, our staff could enrich their professional toolkit, better prepare students for challenges on the European labor market, and develop intercultural competences. Mobilities were meant to provide insight into innovative working methods used abroad, as well as offer opportunities to share our own practices with partner institutions. We aimed to promote the horizontal values of the Erasmus+ programme, considering them essential in today’s world, and to educate participants accordingly. Each project objective was translated into concrete actions, with the intended outcome being the individual development of participants. A key aspect was ensuring equal access to the programme - we paid particular attention to individuals with disabilities, economic difficulties, and those from disadvantaged backgrounds, working to eliminate barriers that hinder access to international experience. As part of the project, we also intended to implement solutions supporting sustainable development, increasing participants’ ecological awareness not only in theory but above all through practical actions. We encouraged the use of low-emission means of transport, reduction of carbon footprint, and the use of electronic documents instead of printed ones - which, in addition to ecological benefits, also improved workflow efficiency. We aimed to educate participants at every stage of the project, consistently adding building blocks of knowledge to naturally foster pro-environmental attitudes in everyday life. We also focused on developing participants’ digital competences by introducing tools that streamline mobility management, promoting digital communication with partners, and supporting participants. We encouraged the use of electronic platforms at every stage of mobility - preparation, implementation, and reporting - which increased the efficiency and transparency of the process. In implementing the priority of active participation, we aimed to inspire participants to engage meaningfully. We strived to ensure that mobilities were not limited to acquiring knowledge and professional skills but also stimulated reflection on the participant’s role and agency. We wanted project participants to develop a sense of responsibility for their environment, gain the courage to express their opinions, and actively contribute to the project - both during their stay abroad and upon return.
