A priority activity within the Erasmus+ program is to achieve the greatest possible internationalization and improve the quality of activities related to education and internationalization, as well as raise awareness of European citizenship. WAT's participation in the Erasmus+ program has contributed to the achievement of the goals set out in the university's internationalization and development strategy, such as: increasing the level of key competencies of program participants, promoting linguistic diversity and intercultural awareness, expanding cooperation with foreign partners in the field of education, promoting mobility, improving social inclusion processes, developing open and distance learning, increasing job opportunities and better career prospects, increasing active participation in social life, disseminating knowledge about European projects and their benefits, and finally, emphasizing the need to implement a self-education process driven by scientific and technological progress.
