The implementation of the project was in line with the strategy of the Pomeranian University in Słupsk, in which internationalisation is defined as one of the key strategic goals. Participation in the Erasmus+ Programme directly supported the implementation of this objective by fostering relationships with foreign universities, enhancing the institution’s visibility on the international stage, and contributing to the creation of a more open and multicultural academic environment. In this context, the main aim of the Erasmus KA131-2023 project, which lasted 26 months and ended on 31 July 2025, was to support the internationalisation of our institution by enabling mobility for students, academic staff, and administrative employees. For students, our primary goal was to enhance their language, intercultural, and professional competences through participation in studies and internships abroad, which was also intended to increase their employability on both the local and global labour markets. In the case of academic staff, the objective was to improve the quality of teaching by exchanging educational experiences and best practices with lecturers from partner institutions. The mobility of administrative staff aimed at developing their professional and language skills, as well as improving the efficiency of our institution by implementing solutions and ideas observed at partner institutions abroad. An important aspect of the project was also the integration of students and staff into an international environment through exposure to new cultures, local customs and traditions, as well as support for personal development and the strengthening of competences necessary for active participation in democratic society.
