The project aimed to strengthen the international dimension of WSB Merito University in Gdańsk (UWSB) and provide students and staff with equal access to mobility opportunities. In line with the Erasmus+ priorities, the university promoted following areas: - Inclusion and Diversity: We wanted to make mobility more accessible to students and staff with fewer opportunities. The UWSB promoted short-term and blended mobility formats. - Digital Transformation: The project contributed to developing digital skills and new methods of collaboration. Through blended mobility, virtual components, and online cooperation with partner universities, students and staff enhanced their digital competences and integrated technology into teaching, learning, and administration. - Environment and Fight Against Climate Change: We promoted sustainable travel choices and integrated elements of environmental awareness and green practices into our activities and courses. Sustainability topics were also embedded in academic content, especially in Business, IT, and Law studies, fostering greater student involvement in green initiatives. - Participation in Democratic Life: By participating in mobility, students and staff gained intercultural competences, a better understanding of European values, and soft skills useful for active citizenship and employability. At the institutional level, the project helped us expand our network of international partners. The programme contributes to strengthening common European values and building a sense of belonging to the international academic community. However, the benefits of participating in Erasmus+ go far beyond this dimension. The experience of studying or working abroad enabled participants to develop essential soft skills, such as independence, responsibility, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to new cultural and professional environments. Mobility fostered open-mindedness, tolerance, and intercultural understanding, which are crucial in today’s globalised world. It also helped participants gain confidence, improve problem-solving skills, and enhance their capacity to work effectively in diverse teams. We have many examples of students who become Buddy for incoming students to have life-learning experience by continuing foreign language usage as being the bridge between Poland and other country. Staff exchange was also a diverse for some participants. They have started going behond their comfort zone by being in contact with visiting university regarding publicities or reaserch. These competences have a long-term impact, supporting both personal growth and professional career development.
