The overarching qualitative objective was internationalisation of the educational process, which was a part of the university’s current development strategy. This represented an important tactical objective among the strategic goals. The overriding qualitative goal of the project was to internationalise the education process, which is in line with the main objectives of the university's development strategy. This goal was achieved through the permanent improvement of the quality of education due to: integration of academic communities by virtue of signed and implemented contracts, extending cooperation with employers operating in the foreign labour market, research and teaching staff participation in the programme, exchange of students and staff with foreign universities, undertaking joint scientific and research projects guaranteeing an increase in the international activity of staff and students as well as professional development and improvement of qualifications. The aim of the project was to contribute to European integration through the implementation of academic mobility and to create opportunities to strengthen partnership ties in cooperating countries and contribute to the understanding of working and living conditions
