Objectives

The Health related Organization for Promotion and Prevention "HOPP" is an organization dedicated to public health. Through our activities, we aim to raise awareness about the importance of a healthy lifestyle. At the same time, we strive to introduce the public to topics related to public health. The goal of the association is to promote a healthy lifestyle among young people, which we achieve by strengthening non-formal health education methods. Our mission is also to improve the quality of health education by developing innovative methods in both Polish and English for a broad range of beneficiaries. In our work, we emphasize creativity and non-formal education, which positively influences mental well-being, a sense of security in education, and young people's health awareness. Through the implementation of the project, in which we conducted 3 activities: 2 trainings, "Learn to Grow, Grow to Lead," "HOPP on board," and the youth exchange "Healthy Earth, Healthy Me!," we contributed to the improvement of participants' health, the development of young leaders' competencies, the development of innovative methods for health and environmental education, and the expansion of a network of organizations focused on youth well-being. The training "Learn to Grow, Grow to Lead" aimed to develop basic competencies among youth workers through non-formal education and to support the mental and physical health of young people. By utilizing innovative educational tools, such as the StartNow and StartNow+ modules, participants acquired skills that will help them effectively engage in youth work in their respective countries. The result of the training is the concept of a network of health organizations, "YOUthfull Health," which is still being developed. The training "HOPP on board" aimed to deepen participants' knowledge of facilitation theory and the practical conduct of workshops on environmental and ecological education. The training, which included organizations from outside the European Union, such as Armenia, Albania, and Egypt, enabled our team to network with Erasmus partner and third countries, strengthening our international cooperation. The outcome was the creation of four new educational modules. The youth exchange "Healthy Earth – Healthy Me!": The goal of the exchange was to raise participants' awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and to promote pro-environmental attitudes and personal well-being. Participants gained knowledge about global environmental challenges through workshops, CHEER cards, and interactive sessions, which inspired them to take active steps towards protecting the planet. The outcome of the youth's work is an online campaign about young activists working for environmental protection and sustainable development, as well as an online guide.
