Objectives

The main goal of the project was to empower young people and youth workers by enabling them to acquire key competencies essential for thriving in a rapidly changing world. We aimed to create a space where young individuals could develop their skills, increase civic awareness, and prepare for active participation in social and professional life. Three youth exchanges were carried out, as well as one initiative focused on the professional development of youth workers. One of the key objectives was to modernize youth work methods to better respond to current educational needs. In this Erasmus accreditation year, through youth exchanges and training for youth workers, we aimed to promote intercultural dialogue, the values of the European Union, and critical thinking skills. The goal was for young people to not only distinguish between facts and myths but also to better understand cultural diversity and develop civic attitudes, contributing to building stronger and more integrated communities. Another objective was to strengthen the competencies of youth workers so that they could better support young people in their development. Through training focused on intercultural dialogue and communication, we wanted youth workers to be able to implement innovative tools and methods that contribute to better intercultural understanding and increase youth engagement in social life. The project also aimed to develop the capacity of the Foundation by establishing new international partnerships and carrying out joint initiatives. The project enabled the Foundation to expand cooperation with new NGOs from various European and non-European countries. These new connections allowed for the implementation of joint initiatives, including youth exchanges and youth worker mobility projects, which contributed to the increased recognition of the Foundation. Through these activities, the Foundation gained greater visibility and the ability to carry out new projects in the future, which directly influenced its growth. Another crucial goal was to develop new methods and tools for working with young people that addressed current educational needs. As a result of the project, a variety of lesson plans, educational games and activities, infographics, and promotional videos on key project themes were created. These materials, developed by project participants, can be widely used by youth workers and young people in Poland, in partner countries, and around the world. In this way, the project contributed to enriching the methodology of youth work, allowing for better support of young people in their personal and professional development. The project fully responded to the contemporary challenges faced by young people and youth workers. Thanks to its implementation, it not only strengthened the competencies of participants but also built the organizational capacity of the Foundation, which will undoubtedly bring long-term benefits to both the organization and its beneficiaries.
