The "Wiatrak" Foundation, as the hosting organization, implemented a youth exchange project titled "Discover Your Strengths, Potential, and Talents." The project aimed to help participants identify and reflect on their strengths, potential, and talents, and how to utilize them in planning their personal development. Participants took part in workshops organized by the hosting organization, as well as those prepared by other exchange participants. The main goals of the project included: intercultural integration, active participation in the project, promoting activities that strengthen group cohesion, gaining valuable experience, personal development, discovering one's strengths and considering how they can be used in personal development planning, learning about other opportunities within the Erasmus program and the European Solidarity Corps, and improving soft skills and teamwork abilities. Participants developed skills in presenting themselves, speaking in English, and acquired new abilities such as sewing, crocheting, and creative self-expression through music and art. They learned new and creative ways to spend their free time, expanded their knowledge about other countries, and broke down some stereotypes. The Foundation expanded its range of school meetings, where it informs young people about EU programs, not only the European Solidarity Corps but also Erasmus Plus. The Foundation proposed activities for a younger audience because they identified a need and a gap in this area. They offered activities that were lacking for the younger community. Coordinators shared their experiences and best practices with students, teachers, and the local community in the region. Additionally, the coordinators gained new experience in implementing youth exchanges. They increased their confidence and improved their communication in English. The project succeeded in increasing contacts with people from different cultural backgrounds, expanding knowledge about other countries, and raising awareness of the Erasmus Plus program among young people.
