The project was defined by setting four clear and reachable objectives: Objective 1: To build a European Network of organizations that work with youngsters aged between 13 and 17 years old and by this create opportunities for youth to develop their 8 key competencies through educational activities based on non-formal education. During past years we built many partnerships with organizations working in the youth field. Unfortunately, only a few of our partner organizations work with the age group we intend to focus mostly on during upcoming years. Therefore, one of our aims is to develop partnerships with organizations that work with participants aged 13-17, learn from their good practices, and strengthen the bonds by organizing successful youth projects; Objective 2: To create a group of active youth leaders by providing them with tools to develop their leadership skills. We intended to support young adults to develop concrete leadership skills such as intercultural communication and public speaking, team building, facilitation, project management, conflict management among others, etc. As soon as the youngsters from our local community graduate, they move out to university cities. Although they are not able to get involved in our local activities regularly due to the distance or limited free time, they still seek possibilities to develop their skills. Through our projects, we aim to achieve a big impact on participants by making them more confident about their skills and their capacity. We aimed for them to become trainers when they return back home and work together with other youngsters from their local communities on specific topics; Objective 3: To promote the Erasmus program as a tool for inclusion and empowerment by ensuring the participation of youngsters with fewer opportunities and special needs in all of our mobilities. Many of the youngsters we work with come from small villages, and some of them face not only geographical but also financial issues. We aim to create equal possibilities for them to join our activities and benefit from the Erasmus+ program. We aimed to involve 55% of participants with fewer opportunities and special needs in every project. Objective 4: To provide quality activities based on non-formal education methods by enabling youth workers to develop their skills and exchange good practices with other youth workers during training courses organized by our organization and partner organizations under the Erasmus+ program. We planned to organize one training course and participate in at least two organized abroad every year. Our goal is to work with youth in a professional way. Therefore, we need to assure our youth workers and youth workers from partner organizations are skilled and professional in their field. The topic of the training was dependent on the needs of the youth workers from project countries and was based on a common discussion of the involved partners. By implementing the project, our main aim was to follow our own development strategy through implementing successful international mobilities and creating valuable opportunities for our volunteers and local youngsters, specifically those in our target group. Through receiving the confirmation of stable funding, we aimed to address various educational needs, foster an appreciation for cultural diversity, and broaden the horizons of involved participants. As in our community non-formal education is primarily being offered by culture houses, we aimed to bring a new range of activities and possibilities for youngsters to develop skills in an international environment. The intended international mobilities that we applied for not only aimed to foster cross-cultural learning but also broaden the horizons of our local youth, providing them with unique experiences and opportunities for personal growth. Our projects responded to the objectives of Erasmus related to increasing self-empowerment and self-esteem among the youngsters, giving them the possibility to improve foreign language competencies and increase awareness of EU values. As one of the mobilities was organized as a Training Course through which we aimed to equip youth workers with the competencies and methods needed to spread common, fundamental values of our society.
