Objectives

The Foundation employs many educators and teachers who, in their everyday school practice, are faced with the post-pandemic reality with the eruption of depressive attitudes and addiction to social media. Therefore, our work was based on the selection of classes and activities that non-formally shaped the participants' sense of general well-being, peace and acceptance. As we assumed, the introduction of well-being contributed to the increase in the level of satisfaction and well-being of young people from Dzierżoniów County. Project activities were an ideal opportunity for them and a break from the routine of school, work or lack of work. By "getting out" of the difficult living conditions in which they live every day, at least for a moment, it was possible to broaden their horizons, change the structure of their thinking, and support their ambitious, creative functioning in multicultural Europe. The activities were aimed at strengthening self-confidence and a sense of fulfillment, which we assumed would have an indirect impact on our successful presence on the labor market. Thanks to active participation in the project, young people were able to overcome the barriers of feeling injustice or being a "victim" of their own prejudices, views, environmental prejudices, subconscious, negative patterns from childhood, which they were not fully aware of. Our project overthrew these barriers, broke down old prejudices and stereotypes, and prevented xenophobia and defeatism. Young people no longer had to struggle alone with the sense of senselessness of their actions, they were engaged in activities, which we hope will bring tangible benefits in creating the personal development and professional life of participants and members of the foundation. Not only young people were involved in the project activities, but also indirectly during the shows, residents of nearby towns and seniors. Thanks to active participation in activities, young people had the opportunity to learn from each other, raise the level of awareness and consolidate their knowledge with the necessary ecological practice, which is necessary in the rural environment of the commune (there are quite often situations in which garbage is taken to the forest, furnaces are not replaced coal, no waste disposal methods have been introduced). The aim of our project activities was also to constantly include LGBT+ people and all people marginalized within each partner organization due to discrimination and lack of respect from society at large. According to the assumption, we managed to reach marginalized people and create a friendly environment for them, indirectly influence their family members, provide psychotherapeutic support and, most importantly, shape and influence public opinion by all possible means; joint debates and discussions, presentations concluding workshops with the participation of marginalized people. During the implementation of the project, young people also met with young people with disabilities and created a joint improvised movement performance with the charges of the Pokoloruj Szarość Foundation and the Bajkowe Wzgórza School. Moreover, the aim of the youth's activities during the activity was to build unity in multicultural and diverse Europe through close cooperation of our Foundation with three partner organizations - from Lithuania, Slovakia and Romania. Together, we expanded contacts and influenced the local community and the region through the use of IT techniques in close cooperation and European dissemination sources such as the Erasmus+ Program Results Platform.
