Objectives

Through the implementation of the project, we aimed to achieve the following objectives: Objective 1: This objective addresses the needs of young people identified through studies of local communities and experiences of support centers. By engaging youth, we strive to develop their interpersonal, communication, and language skills, facilitating integration with both Polish and international society. The project also supports equality and inclusivity, making activities accessible to all so that everyone has an equal opportunity to realize their potential. We aim for social inclusion, particularly concerning marginalized youth, including refugees from Ukraine, and to create spaces for sharing best practices in promoting social inclusion both domestically and internationally. Objective 2: Enhancing staff qualifications arises from the need to provide tools and methods for working with youth from diverse backgrounds. In light of the need to provide high-quality support to young people, especially the marginalized, the priority is to develop the staff's language, social, psychological, organizational, and intercultural skills. Achieving this objective will expand opportunities to work with multicultural groups and young people requiring additional support, such as those from challenging environments or those who have experienced trauma. Planned activities include workshops with a psychologist and an intercultural trainer, equipping staff with tools for working with individuals from various cultures, as well as job-shadowing to learn from more experienced partners. Objective 3: The aim is to develop young people's digital skills, identified as a need during the implementation of previous projects. The project includes support for basic and advanced digital skills essential for daily life, civic engagement, and democracy. The increasing interest from educational institutions in participating in such initiatives indicates a need to strengthen digital competencies, which are crucial for youth in an ever-evolving, algorithm-driven world. Objective 4: The goal is to enhance knowledge in the field of ecology, promote sustainable practices in daily life, including conscious consumer choices, and raise awareness of "Green Jobs" as a career prospect for youth. This objective will be achieved through youth exchanges, during which participants will learn about sustainable approaches to ecology and the green economy in other European countries. The goal is also to strengthen environmental education, so that environmental protection becomes a key value at every stage of young people's lives, aligning with the EU's priorities for sustainable youth development.
