The implementation of the project was focused on achieving the main goals indicated in the accreditation application and resulting from the European Development Plan of our school, i.e.: 1. Development of 8 key competences by young people; this goal was achieved by engaging a total of 76 people to participate in two youth exchanges, who, through involvement in project activities, developed communication skills in English, logical, analytical, mathematical thinking skills, digital competences, skills related to fast and effective learning, social and intercultural competences, competences related to entrepreneurship, and increased their cultural awareness. 2. Promotion of proper habits among young people, helping to lead a healthy, active lifestyle; this goal was achieved by involving 37 young people from Poland, Turkiye and Hungary in the Youth Exchange I (carried out between 15 and 21 June 2024), who by participating in the mobility could: - develop ideas for active, pro-development spending of free time (such as playing team games previously unknown to young people, taking up the challenge of practicing yoga every morning or practicing running and stretching classes); - expand and systematize their knowledge of the impact of an active lifestyle and healthy eating on the amount of energy that young people have during the day, on the desire and motivation to act, on the overall level of health, - create a list of suggestions on how to prepare tasty and healthy meals from generally available food products; - find the best way for themselves to get back into good physical shape and get rid of unhealthy habits that arose during the Covid-19 pandemic; - check what it's like to live actively, what positive changes in the body appear after a week of changing our habits (the entire youth exchange was focused on active time spending and education through the use of informal methods requiring participants to be very physically active and involved). 3. Developing soft, leadership, and entrepreneurship skills by the youth; this goal was achieved by involving 39 young people from Poland, Hungary, and Slovakia in the Youth Exchange II (carried out between August 22 and 29, 2024), who, by participating in the mobility, could: - learn how to effectively argue their arguments in a group, how to make public speeches to be listened to and understood, how to effectively manage the work of a team; - develop their skills related to quick learning and effective planning of their work; - develop their skills necessary in the recruitment process when applying for a job (creating a CV, writing a cover letter, the ability to present themselves well at a job interview); - learn what Youthpass and the European Skills Passport are, how to create them and how they can help in recruiting for future work. 4. Support for people working with youth in developing their work, learning new methods of non-formal education, learning new methods of engaging young people in social and pro-development activities; this goal was achieved by engaging 35 people working with youth from Poland, Turkiye, Italy, Slovakia and Hungary to participate in a training course (carried out between 08-12.06.2024), who, by participating in the mobility, could: - learn new methods of non-formal education aimed at activating groups of young people at risk of social exclusion for economic, environmental and geographical reasons; - discuss how and on what principles cooperation between schools, local governments and NGOs should take place in order to support the development of young people (which should ultimately lead to preparing young people to find their place on the modern labour market, in social relations in adult life with family members, with friends, with building a sense of responsibility for the local community and the environment around us); - by taking part in a series of practical workshops, learn about methods of educating young people through play (e.g. as part of afternoon classes in school boarding houses, in community centres, in NGO organisations), learn about integration games with high educational and cognitive values and which are at the same time an attractive option for spending free time for young people. 5. Inclusion of people with fewer opportunities, which was ensured by enabling participation in mobilities carried out as part of the project to a total of 53 people with fewer opportunities (due to their place of residence in poorly connected rural areas, difficult financial situation in the family, reduced intellectual and cognitive abilities).
