Objectives

This project aimed to bring together various ideas for creating a healthy lifestyle that served as a source of vitality, strength, and positive energy. It also acted as a wake-up call for local communities, encouraging them to pay greater attention to the mental health of young people and to improve their support systems—not only for the youth but also for the general population. The project started with the premise that effective stress management enhances the quality of life and mental health. It emphasized that contact with nature is one of the best ways to manage stress. The project highlighted hiking as a total-body workout and, when combined with healthy eating, a powerful source of vital energy and creative ideas for overcoming everyday challenges. Hiking was presented as a natural remedy for both body and mind, capable of stimulating the release of feel-good hormones like adrenaline and endorphins, which elevate mood and energy levels. Participants experienced a profound sense of peace and composure by spending more time outdoors, connecting with nature, and sharing these moments with others. This led to feelings of relaxation and improved well-being. To further promote these benefits, the project developed various hiking games to engage more people, enhance the hiking experience, and encourage friends and family to spend time outdoors together. Objectives of the project: -Raised awareness about mental health and wellness among youth. -Promoted healthy lifestyles among youth by sharing good practices, practical skills, and knowledge. -Developed knowledge, tools, attitudes, and skills to popularize sports and physical activities among young people. -Facilitated cultural exchange and helped young people understand that youth face similar challenges worldwide, regardless of cultural, ethnic, or national differences. -Increased and ensured the active participation of young people in discussions on health and well-being. -Broadened the horizons of young people by sharing different approaches to health and well-being within their own communities. -Enabled the exchange of practices between participants. -Provided learning opportunities through different non-formal methods. -Fostered future cooperation among organizations. -Raised awareness of the Erasmus+ program.
